Airbrush makeup is the latest in Make Up application.  Although not new, it has gained popularity in recent years.  Airbrush makeup is makeup sprayed onto the skin using an airbrush instead of being applied with sponges, brushes, fingers, or other methods.  It is extremely long lasting and can give clients a very natural flawless look.  It can be applied very lightly for a transparent natural look or heavier for greater coverage.  This Make Up is recommended for those who really need that extra mile out of their makeup and is perfect for high resolution digital photography.  Waterproof and can last up to 24 hours!!  Currently used on many TV and movie sets for High Definition Film.

All of our artist use only quality professional products including Mac, Atelier, Kryolan, Bobby Brown, Ket and many others.  

Each artist has their own preference and can discuss that either at your trial or before.  

Professional Make Up is designed to last.  It has high pigment so has a great cover without having to “cake” it on.   Regular make up is designed for everyday wear.

Professional brands also take into consideration your photography and ensure that you make up is not reflective with sun screen.  

Your professional Make Up Artist has been highly trained to get the best result for your photography.  In addition they know how to make your features stand out and look the best you possibly can. 

Most professional make up is waterproof or water resistant.

This will vary from Artist to Artist but a general guide is 45 – 1 hour.  

Please check with your make up artist for a more accurate time frame. 

Below are some general instructions on how to prepare your skin and hair for your wedding day.  Please check with your artist for their preferences.
 
Hair:  
Not oily and preferably not freshly washed.  The night before is perfect however if you have very oily fine hair, wash it that morning with no conditioner and dry thoroughly.  Do not use an oil products in your hair. eg. Argan Oil.   If your hair is thick but oily, wash it twice thoroughly and condtion only the ends to ensure oil removal.

Face:
Clean and lightly moisturised.  If possible do an exfoliation that morning to ensure dead skins cells removed which will help with nice smooth skin for your make up application.
